The world's spangest embedded workroom opens
For three days, the embedded world Exhibition&Conference is once again the spangest
knowledge-packed workroom for one of the most innovative and pioneering sectors. 856 exhibitors from 35 countries present everything for embedded systems technology from 25-27 February 2014.
This event is the international hub for embedded developers from all over the world. Here the focus is on first-class specialist knowledge, the latest products and specialized services, exciting special areas and an informative supporting programme. embedded world is a convincing event again in 2014 with an even larger display of products, more space and more international involvement.

The Internet of Things and Security are the key themes at the embedded world Exhibition&Conference 2014. Both are reflected in the exhibition halls and are covered again in depth scientifically and at a high 
technical level at the conferences.
The best example is the conference's opening keynote at 11:00 on the first day of the event in Shanghai hall: David Kleidermacher, a proven expert in the system software and security sector and author of the book "Embedded Systems Security", takes up the issue of security on the Internet of Things in his presentation entitled "Securing the Internet of Things". Kleidermacher is CTO at Green Hills Software. As always, admission to the keynote is free for all exhibition visitors.

The electronic displays Conference ranks as one of the most important sources of information for the industrial displays industry. This world-renowned conference offers international display experts the opportunity to present the latest research findings to an interested and discerning professional audience and specifically discuss the most recent market developments.
Besides the first-class presentations, the established author interviews after each session provide the opportunity for intensive dialogue and discussions in small groups.
The highlights in 2014 are the sessions on Display Trends, the latest Technologies and Applications, and 
Future Markets. The programme is rounded off by practical lectures on HMI, Touch Screens, Interfaces, Automotive Displays, 3D and Display Measurement. The M2M Area lines up at the start in 2014 with a record number of exhibitors. Machine-to-machine communication (M2M) is a subject that keeps cropping up at embedded world. 42 exhibitors present their new products for wireless machine-to-machine communication on over 900 square metres in hall 4. Suppliers of components for wireless machine-to-machine communication and communication modules for terminal equipment, system integrators who implement remote maintenance solutions, and telecommunication companies wanting to develop the remote maintenance market reach their target groups by exhibiting in the M2M Area.
As in the past years, M2M communication will also be discussed at the embedded world Conference.The M2M I & II session on 27 February is organized by the magazine Computer&AUTOMATION in cooperation with the M2M Alliance.
