More Business Power
with Expanded Technical Content
The content and business offensive of the world's leading Motek trade fair continues! Already now, at the beginning of the registration phase for the 2016 session, P.E. Schall GmbH & Co.KG, promoters of the Motek international trade fair for production and assembly automation, are able to announce positive booking results.
To date, more than 800 manufacturers and distributors have already registered (750 for Motek and more than 70 for the concurrently held Bondexpo international trade fair for bonding technologies).
Private trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG are very pleased to confirm that, as planned, all seven of the earmarked halls will be fully occupied (3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 for Motek and 9 for Bondexpo)! This is advantageous due to the fact that the halls in both the even and the odd-numbered rows will be fully occupied, resulting in a block-like trade fair layout for the expert visitors which requires only a minimum amount of legwork.
After record-breaking numbers drew keen attention to Motek and Bondexpo last year, quantitative and above all qualitative consolidation are on the agenda for 2016 in the form of the aforementioned content and business offensive. This action is motivated by the desire to bring additional and above all entirely new potential customers at the decision-making level who fit in with the target-group strategy to the exhibitors from more than 30 countries.
Further development of technical content will be in full compliance with Motek's alignment as a strictly practice-oriented information, communication, business and industry platform, as well as with its respective nomenclature which serves as a common thread. There's no focus on trendy issues, but rather on looking beyond one's own horizons in order to present the production philosophy throughout the entire automation and digitisation strategy associated with Industry 4.0 in the form of components, modules, subsystems and complete solutions in a highly realistic setting.
Four technical focal points are currently in planning, and to some extent already in progress, which can be synergistically linked to the basic issues of Motek and Bondexpo as well as to the above mentioned new topics:
"Lightweight Area"
Lightweight engineering in actual practice from the production of raw materials through components manufacturing, right on up to assembly, fastening, joining and test technology - an Eldorado for the massive use of robots and their peripheries. The "Lightweight Area" will be implemented at the interface between Motek and Bondexpo with the Lightweight Theme Park in close cooperation with Springer Fachmedien publishers. The University of Applied Sciences at Landshut will demonstrate its commitment as a further partner with its Lightweight Cluster.
"Industry 4.0"
Digital excellence as a common thread for highly practical implementation of the Industry 4.0 strategy and, as a further issues platform, the System House Campus in partnership with Konradin publishers.
"Accompanying Convention Events"
Two convention events will be held in hall 8 on three of the trade fair days as a further premiere for Motek and Bondexpo. As a partner to the trade fair promoters, Vogel Business Media will address current challenges for robotics and the broad range of associated applications, as well as lightweight engineering solutions for assembly and handling, on Tuesday and Wednesday. Independent of this, and as a supplement, the VDI (Association of German Engineers) will reserve Thursday for significant Industry 4.0 issues like digitisation and span data.
"Application Road"
Already in progress since Motek 2015 and to be presented initially in two halls at Motek 2016: the Motek Application Road! Based on Motek's nomenclature, well over 150 manufacturers of special machines, assembly systems and turnkey complete solutions, as well as system integrators, are identified in the Motek special trade fair guide for assembly systems fabrication and robot system integration. The practical layout of Application Road groups equipment manufacturers and system integrators together, and positions the manufacturers of relevant components and peripherals in direct proximity to them.
