"SPS Automation India 2015" as a global business platform
The outlook for SPS Automation India scheduled in February 2015 appears excellent. The launch edition has garnered considerable attention from the industry with some of the world's most renowned automation manufacturing companies such as Delta Electronics India Pvt Ltd, Endress+Hauser India Pvt Ltd, Geissel India Pvt Ltd, Harting India Pvt Ltd, IFM Electronic India Pvt Ltd, Micro-Epsilon, Omron India, Pepperl+Fuchs, SICK India Pvt Ltd, Themis Automation (Murr Electronik) and others confirming their participation more than eight months before its opening. In total more than 100 exhibitors from India and abroad are expected to showcase their latest technologies in industrial automation, underlining its stance as a sophisticated global business platform.
With India emerging as a global manufacturing and supply hub in several verticals, Indian manufacturers are recognising the need to invest in intelligent automation and control systems to maintain their competitive edge. Currently estimated at INR 12,000 crore (USD 2 billion), India's automation industry is growing at an annual average of 12 per cent which translates to massive untapped potential and huge opportunities for the sector.
Focused on modern automation solutions for the Indian market, SPS Automation India will cover a wide range of topics from automation products to services and solutions, in order to meet India's demands as one of the fast growing automation markets in the world. The trade fair, like the mother event SPS IPC Drives Nuremberg, Germany, will represent a leading platform for advancements in automation and their cost optimising and latest technologies in factory and process automation.
Commenting on India's high-growth path over the next decade, Mr. Raj Manek, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd said: "India has established itself as an economic powerhouse and has the potential to become the world's 5th largest consumer market by 2025. SPS Automation India will take place from 5 - 7 February, 2015 at Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre Gandhinagar in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
