GrindTec 2016
Once Again Following a Record Course
Only three months after mailing the documentation for participation at the next GrindTec, the target of the organisers AFAG, who hope to achieve new benchmarks at the anniversary event, now 
already looks achievable! In record time they have already received over 280 applications! Never before have so many companies ordered their exhibition space so early! This ensures that the coming 10th GrindTec will sustain the continuous growth of this meeting place of the Grinding Technology sector.
Joachim Kalsdorf, Project Manager of the GrindTec is not really surprised: "The GrindTec has established its position as the leading international platform for Grinding Technology. The participating companies regularly confirm their excellent results. In addition we see that the larger machinery manufacturers continue to need more space. And as we can also see from the applications received, the interest of Asian companies - in this case particularly China, Korea and India - is growing; as is the interest shown by US companies growing. They all have a high opinion of the GrindTec as an important platform for interesting global contacts.
Perfect platform for premières - the GrindTec
For some time the exhibitors' marketing experts have been choosing the GrindTec for the premières of important innovations. In the meantime it has reached the pole position, overtaking even the major event EMO. For this reason, any conflicts with simultaneously scheduled events with the same subject matter are no problem for GrindTec exhibitors. As a result there will be not one leading European Grinding Technology company, which is not present at the GrindTec.
Wanted: "Tool-grinder of the year" -
Competition taking place for the sixth time in Augsburg
The VOLLMER WERKE Maschinenfabrik GmbH is a competent partner for the competition "Tool-grinder of 
the year". For the sixth time running the trade journal "fertigung" and the FDPW-Akademie are looking for the best cutting tool mechanic in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Apart from upgrading the image of this highly demanding high-tech profession, the intention is also to interest young people in this trade, with its great future prospects. Once again the finale will take place during the GrindTec 2016. The five finalists from the earlier heats will work on a complex tool in public view - each against each other and all against the clock.
Planning of the
exhibition halls to begin in summer
The planning of the exhibition halls will begin earlier than in the past. Any companies interested in taking part in the trade fair should therefore contact the Project Management as soon as possible, especially if they are hoping for particular positions.
The Project Management urgently reminds exhibitors to list all their planned exhibits in the application form. Without this information a participation at the GrindTec 2016 will not be possible.
