Optatec 2016:
Added Value for Exhibitors and Expert Visitors
When the 13th Optatec international trade fair for optical technologies, components and systems opens its doors at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre from 7 to 9 June 2016 (Hall plan, Optatec 2016), all parti
cipants from the industry sector will have gone through turbulent times from a trade fair policy standpoint. More than ever before, above all multi-technology trade fairs and multidisciplinary technical events want to claim a piece of the allegedly large cake associated with the business of development, production and use of optical technologies and profit from supposed trends in the short-term, although they don't really have anything to do with them - i.e. only as a side-line via specific applications - and in the final analysis just cause a lot of commotion and jack up the marketing costs.
The best example of this is the laser as a universal tool for literally innumerable applications in a great variety of industry sectors.

As little reference is made to the detail that laser systems are based on optical technologies, and fundamentally consist of numerous optical components, as to the fact that a broad range of optical components, modules and systems used in medical technology in the form of endoscopes and lasers as surgical tools permit optimised examination and operating procedures.
What both of the above mentioned examples and many others have in common: to a great extent, they can only be implemented by making use of the aforementioned optical technologies, components and systems, and they require more than just a small excerpt from available worldwide offerings to this end. Complete offerings have been presented alone by the original Optatec international trade fair for optical technologies, components and systems since 1992. It's the only trade fair to showcase current global offerings in the form of comprehensive product ranges and services available from more than 550 renowned exhibitors including technology and market leaders, initiate solutions, stimulate new innovations, promote international competition and guarantee top quality, up-to-the-minute information as an industry sector event.
More than 550 exhibitors from all over the world on more than 193,00 square feet of overall exhibition floor space and thus a world-class technical event, as well as exceptional supplementary and presentation programmes with internationally active collaboration partners such as Spectaris and OptecNet, not to mention the time-tested exhibitor forum and finally the "Training & Research" theme park supported by universities and colleges - it's not without reason that Optatec (Hall plan, Optatec 2016) has been the industry sector event for years and is also experiencing more and more demand from the USA and Asia. The occupancy level for available exhibition floor space at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre is already approaching the 80% mark, which is a sensationally high value for this point in time.
