650 Exhibitors and more than 24.000 Trade Visitors
at Europe's Leading Energy Trade Fair E-world energy & water
From the energy transition via green technologies right up to new ideas for energy efficiency and storage: E-world energy & water was once more Europe's number-one information platform for the energy sector. The numbers of exhibitors and visitors emphasise the significance of the trade fair in an impressive way: At Messe Essen, 650 exhibitors (in 2015: 640) from 22 nations introduced their solutions relating to all aspects of energy generation, trading, transport, storage, efficiency and, above all, smart energy. More than 24.000 trade visitors (the same high level as in 2015) from 71 nations obtained information about innovations and topical subjects in the energy sector.
Not only a large number of market leaders but also a lot of new exhibitors and special service providers used E-world in order to present themselves to the trade public. In this respect, the fair offered them the appropriate platform in order to address their target groups: 77 percent of the trade visitors are involved in purchases and procurements in their companies. They primarily came from utility companies, industry and service providers. Over 95 percent of the exhibitors showed that they were very satisfied with this high quality of the visitors and with the results of their participation in the fair.
"E-world is a mirror image of the sector. These were three very intensive days in our fair halls. Exchanging information, maintaining contacts and establishing new ones - nowhere else is that possible in such a compact form and in such a high quality as here," according to Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen. Dr. Niels Ellwanger, Chairman of con'energy ag: "The subjects for the energy industry have once more been set here. The economic, political and scientific fields held an intensive dialogue at E-world. Because only together can the energy industry meet the challenges and shape the energy transition."
