FDPW - Competence Centre for Grinding Technology
Together with its French partner association SNAFOT, the FDPW specialist association of German precision tool grinders is presenting itself in the conference centre at the Augsburg Exhibition Centre. The GrindTec forum with its lectures on current themes of the branch and the Jakob Preh school from Bad Neustadt as a specialist school for cutting tool mechanics can also be found here. Together with the GrindTec Campus, this association represents the cutting edge in research and development - the ideal complement to the comprehensive offer of GrindTec exhibitors.

These include the chipping production competence centre of the University of Furtwangen, the Ruhr West University, the institute of chipping production (ISF) of the Dortmund Technical University, the Institute of Tool Machines and Factory Operation (IWF) of the TU Berlin, the IWT Bremen - foundation institute of material engineering, the Leibnitz University (IWF), the Rhenish Technical College Cologne GmbH - Institute of Tool and Production Technology and the WZL tool machine laboratory of the RWTH Aachen University.
