Blechexpo / Schweistec 2017:
Present Process Sequence Reality
The entire spectrum of thermal and mechanical sheet metal, profile and pipe processing plus thermal and mechanical welding, joining and fastening technology - the recognised competence duo, namely the 13th Blechexpo and the 6th Schweisstec, is once again scoring with its unique portfolio of offerings at highest international levels! What began to become apparent in the wake of Blechexpo and Schweisstec in 2015 has since been transformed into reality step by step: the Blechexpo international trade fair for sheet metal processing and the Schweisstec international trade fair for joining technology are breaking the mould bit by bit and, already in 2017, will occupy all available exhibition floor space at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre with 15% growth in comparison with the last event.
According to details provided by project manager Georg Knauer, both Blechexpo and Schweisstec are demonstrating strong growth rates above all with regard to domestic and foreign exhibitors, as well as occupied booth floor space: "Already during and shortly after the event in 2015, initial bookings were received and registration is still booming today. At our current level of more than 1,130,000 square feet of overall exhibition floor space, we'll be setting a new record. And this certainly won't be the end of the story, because in the meantime we haven't just occupied all of the available halls at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre - they're nearly full as well. Due to the fact that further RFQs and bookings are coming in every day, we'll fill the entire trade fair centre for the first time in the final analysis. Growing numbers of manufacturers and distributors from outside of Germany are also very favourable, thus increasing the event's internationalism and making it possible for us to present worldwide offerings in actual practice."
A large portion of Blechexpo's lasting and increasing international success can be traced back to the "process sequence" trade fair concept. Expert visitors from around the globe are presented with worldwide product and service offerings, by means of which they can set up the production and processing of components, modules and devices made of sheet metal, pipe and profile in a detailed and holistic manner. The complementary Schweisstec trade fair makes a decisive contribution in this respect as well, which more than simply supplements the process sequence for sheet metal, pipe and profile processing with the fields of thermal and mechanical welding, joining and fastening technology, but rather seamlessly extends them. In comparison with similarly positioned events which more or less deal with just one or the other issue in a selective fashion, Blechexpo and Schweisstec - as technical trade fairs and competence duo - are targeted at a presentation of the entire process sequence based on comprehensive know-how!
This results in numerous synergies for the expert visitors, because they're provided with the opportunity of looking beyond their own horizons. After all, the nomenclatures covered by Blechexpo and Schweisstec include all of the hardware and software required for the efficient production of sheet metal, pipe and profile components, as well as the modules and devices made from them, ranging from materials warehousing, parts processing and automated assembly joining technology, right on up to surface finishing. The 13th Blechexpo and the 6th Schweisstec will take place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 7th through the 10th of November, 2017.
