Founded in 1968 in the beautiful Dutch medieval city of 's-Hertogenbosch,Vanderven Oriental Art is a family business considered to be one of the world's leading international dealers in the field of Chinese export porcelain, and occasionally Chinese porcelain made in then Chinese taste from the 17th and 18th centuries. An impressive selectionn of terracotta sculptures dating from the Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220) and Tang Dynasty (618 - 907), ranging from prancing horses, farm animals, fat ladies and vessels, can also be found in the collection. Another range of objects offered by the gallery includes Chinese works of art such as early bronzes, jade and lacquer ware.
