GrindTec 2016:
Clear growth in sight
And it carries on growing very clearly: 42,000 m² - 5,000 m² more than at the record trade fair in 2014 - have been provisionally planned by the organisers AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH for the coming GrindTec 2016. This appears to be a thoroughly realistic measure in consideration of the present amount of around 400 registrations nine months before the trade fair begins. The record set up in 2014 with 520 participating companies should certainly be beaten by the next event in March 2016.
All the leading companies from the world
of grinding technology will be there in Augsburg
It's no surprise to see that all the top companies from this sector have long ago registered for the coming GrindTec, and in many cases they have considerably enlarged the amount of space booked. Certainly the excellent results they had at the GrindTec 2014 - 75 % of the exhibitors assessed their participation as "very good" or "good", and a further 17% as "satisfactory" - will have greatly influenced this.
A second, very important argument is the outstanding quality and professional competence of the GrindTec visitors: 88 % are "sole or co-decision makers", or are at least "involved in an advisory capacity". For this reason, at the GrindTec many orders are placed, in contrast to other trade fairs - a good 900 orders placed at the last event.
Theme Park "Grinding Technology 4.0"
of the Konradin media group at the GrindTec
Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory have now made their place in serial manufacturing. But the question remains whether the digitalisation of the processes is of any use to workshop-oriented grinding technology? The Theme Park "Grinding Technology 4.0", carried out by AFAG and FDPW together with the Konradin media group will be answering this question. At an attractive collective stand in the newly built Hall 4 well-known technology leaders will present their digitalisation solutions for the workshop floor. At the attached Forum they will be reporting in the form of professional lectures on cost-benefit relations,
interfaces, conditions for implementation etc. Different solution strategies will be linked up together to achieve the best possible result, which can lead to new ways of thinking and new ways of finding solutions for problems encountered. Thus the visitor can find everything that will increase his competitiveness and his processes in concentrated form at the Theme Park.
