Dach+ Holz International:
All eyes on Cologne (Germany)
Full steam ahead for DACH+HOLZ International: From the 20th to the 23rd of February 2018, the most important meeting point for roofers and carpenters in all of Europe will take place at the Fairground Koelnmesse.
Together with both umbrella associations, the Central Association of the German Roofing Trade (Zentralverband des Deutschen Dachdeckerhandwerks) and Holzbau Deutschland - the Association of German Master Carpenters (Bund Deutscher Zimmermeister), the GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH has developed several exciting new features for the trade fair, which visitors can look forward to.
Early next year, DACH+HOLZ International will take place at the Fairground Messe Cologne for the third time - and the first signs are promising. DACH+HOLZ International remains the most important meeting point for roofers and carpenters in all of Europe.
"The prominent companies from and for the industry are already on board and, as it currently stands, registration numbers have slightly increased", says Robert Schuster, Project Manager of the trade fair, who adds that there has been a significant increase in international involvement. Already, exhibitors from 27 countries have registered for the trade fair.
DACH+HOLZ International -
A perfect platform for trade and industry
Altogether, the four Halls 6, 7, 8 and 9 and the Fairground will be available for the companies in Cologne to present themselves and new products. "Here, the trade visitors - carpenters, roofers and plumbers, as well as the architectural and real estate industry from all over Europe and more - will be able to find all products and a comprehensive supply of information concerning building cover, as well as the core areas of planning and building, shortly before the main season for the construction industry begins", explains Robert Schuster, Project Manager of the trade fair. For this reason, DACH+HOLZ International will be directly geared towards and tailored to the needs of these target groups.
One focus of the coming trade fair will be digitalisation. For example, attendees will be able to experience a special exhibition dealing with the subject of drones, among others, which celebrated its noteworthy premiere at DACH+HOLZ International 2016. Digitalisation will also occupy a large role at the DACH+HOLZ Forum, where experts will give several talks on current and future trends. Every day, the focus will be on one key topic within the industry, according to Schuster. Aside from digitalisation, for example, other planned focuses are the housing industry, fire protection and roof greening. There will also be a separate presentation area with a living workshop and activities concerning the latter focus on each day of the trade fair.
